Documentary Woes I never should have installed Premiere. It ate too much RAM and it crashed our computer. Luckily, my brother reformatted it... but yeah, all our files got deleted. Tried to reinstall it, it crashed again. Tried to install Ulead VideoStudio, nada.
So I settled for somewhat primitive Windows Movie Maker to make our documentary for Religion class in... 12 hours.
First Day High I made my sisters watch First Day High. Heh.
Finals Next week! Plus tons of papers and the qualifying exam on the 20th!
Will edit this soon.
Is it possible? I'm trying (in vain) to learn Adobe Premiere 6 in two days. Or less. For our "documentary" video project for Religion class. Zzzz. I already know how to tinker with Movie Maker and Ulead Video Studio 8, but apparantly Premiere has the overlay feature which both WMM and Ulead lack. The overlay might be useful.
I don't want to rely on video editing shops because I have no control over the content. And they charge like Php400 per hour. Our computer is pretty fast for video editing but the sucky part is that I forgot to specify a firewire port (ieee 1394) for the video camera. That means, going to video editing shops and paying for the transfer PLUS the burning of the raw footage to cds and whatnot.
I'm off to download tutorials!
Eehh I'm so tired :[
Don't go far off, not even for a day, because --
because -- I don't know how to say it: a day is long
and I will be waiting for you, as in an empty station
when the trains are parked off somewhere else, asleep.
Don't leave me, even for an hour, because
then the little drops of anguish will all run together,
the smoke that roams looking for a home will drift
into me, choking my lost heart.
Oh, may your silhouette never dissolve on the beach;
may your eyelids never flutter into the empty distance.
Don't leave me for a second, my dearest,
because in that moment you'll have gone so far
I'll wander mazily over all the earth, asking,
Will you come back? Will you leave me here, dying?
-- Pablo Neruda
This is the sonnet I chose for poetry recitation. It's so
dramatic, I love it.I don't know how on earth I'm going to say it in
front of class. Aaaahh.
