Tropic Thunder (2008)
This was a very popular movie in the US. The so-called funniest movie of 2008. Having seen very little films released in 2008, I don't really have a basis for comparison if this is indeed the funniest movie of 2008. But one thing I'm certain, it was not as funny as I thought it would be. Tom Cruise's role is a cute surprise. That's it. Even Robert Downey Jr. as a white man pretending to be a black man was full of blah. Good to see him in movies, though. I will forever love him in Heart and Souls and Only You.
